Soluna Holdings has amended its agreement with Bitdeer Technologies Group to add approximately 7 megawatts of Bitcoin mining equipment at Project Kati 1 in Texas, bringing Bitdeer’s total deployment at the site to 35 MW. The expanded agreement represents about 2.42 exahashes per second of mining capacity and fully subscribes the K1BC phase of the 83 MW wind-powered data center.
Soluna disclosed the amendment in a Sept. 28 filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Under the revised agreement, Bitdeer’s deployment is expected to be completed in November 2026, according to the company. The expansion is the first increase to the partnership announced in August, when Bitdeer agreed to deploy approximately 28 MW at Project Kati 1.
The arrangement uses a co-mining structure in which Soluna provides the site, power and turnkey operations while Bitdeer supplies and owns its Sealminer A2 Pro Air mining equipment. The companies share the mining proceeds generated by the deployment. Soluna said the amendment maintains the same structure as the original agreement.

Project Kati 1 is located in Willacy County, Texas, and has 83 MW of wind-powered data center capacity dedicated to Bitcoin hosting. Soluna completed the site in September after energizing its final 14 MW, taking the company’s total operating capacity to approximately 206 MW. The company said the K1BC phase is now fully subscribed following the expanded Bitdeer deployment.
The original August agreement called for approximately 28 MW of Bitdeer equipment, representing about 1.93 EH/s of hash rate, with deployment scheduled to begin in September in stages. The additional 7 MW increases the Bitdeer deployment by roughly 25% from that initial commitment and adds approximately 0.49 EH/s of capacity based on the figures disclosed by Soluna.
Soluna’s broader operating portfolio stood at approximately 192 MW at the end of the second quarter, according to its August announcement, while its development pipeline had reached approximately 6.3 gigawatts. The company is also developing Project Kati 2, an AI and high-performance computing expansion planned for the broader Kati campus.
The Bitdeer expansion comes shortly after Soluna completed Project Kati 1. The company began energizing the site in February, with the 48 MW Kati 1A section filled by Galaxy Digital and the remaining capacity brought online in phases. Soluna said all phases of Kati 1 were delivered on schedule and that infrastructure costs remained on budget.
The September amendment does not disclose a separate purchase price or fixed revenue figure for the additional capacity. Because the agreement is structured as co-mining, Soluna’s economics depend on the mining proceeds generated by the deployment and the parties’ sharing arrangement rather than a conventional fixed hosting payment.
For Bitdeer, the expanded deployment adds computing capacity at an operating site rather than a new greenfield facility. For Soluna, the agreement increases the amount of Kati 1 capacity tied to its co-mining model and leaves the K1BC phase fully subscribed ahead of the planned November completion.
The company said the amended agreement is subject to the forward-looking risks and uncertainties described in its SEC filings, including the anticipated timing and completion of the deployment and the expected economics of the co-mining structure.
